Seat Safety Switch shuts off the Grasshopper mower when the operator leaves the seat while the PTO is running. The Seat Safety Switch is part of a system of interlocking switches that shuts down the engine if the operator leaves the seat with the PTO engaged or when the levers are in the operating position.
